Shiva Market, Pitampura, North West Delhi – 110034

A Delhi trading house with a passport

Since 1999 we have been buying, selling, shipping and brokering goods — from a single office in Pitampura to buyers and suppliers across four continents.

Our story

Built one shipment at a time

Travia Traders began in 1999 as a two-person commission agency working the hardware and textile lines out of North West Delhi. The proposition was simple and has not changed: know the goods, know the counterparty, and stand behind both.

Volume followed reliability. A hardware desk became a general trading house; a Delhi buyer list became an export book; and commission work grew into full import, distribution and brokerage operations spanning seven product categories.

Today we serve more than 500 trade partners — manufacturers, importers, wholesalers and retail chains — in over fifteen countries, while remaining small enough that the person who quotes your consignment is the person who follows it to delivery.

Mission & values

Make cross-border trade feel routine

Our mission is to remove the friction between a manufacturer with capacity and a buyer with demand — wherever in the world either happens to sit.

Say the true number

We quote what a deal actually costs and decline what we cannot deliver. A lost order beats a broken promise.

Relationships outlast orders

Most of our volume comes from partners we have shipped for over a decade. That is the metric we manage to.

Documentation is not admin

Clean paperwork is what keeps a container moving. We treat it as core operations, not an afterthought.

India first, global always

We are proudly a Delhi company, and we compete on service with agents anywhere in the world.

Quality is checked, not assumed

Samples approved, goods inspected before dispatch, deviations reported before they ship.

Answer fast, always

One working day to a costed reply. Silence is the one thing a trading partner cannot use.

Questions

Things buyers ask us first

Both. We buy and sell on our own account as merchants and stockists, and we also act as commission agents or brokers where a manufacturer prefers to invoice the buyer directly. The structure is agreed up front, in writing, before any goods move.

It depends on the category and the supplier. Consumer and hardware lines can often ship LCL from modest volumes; machinery is quoted per unit. Tell us the quantity you have in mind and we will tell you honestly whether it is workable.

We regularly trade with partners in the Gulf, Southeast Asia, East Asia, Europe, the UK and North America, and source from manufacturing hubs across India. If a route is new to us, we will say so and quote the additional lead time rather than guess.

For export orders we typically work on letters of credit or advance/balance TT terms. Domestic distribution runs on agreed credit terms after the first few cycles. Terms are always documented in the proforma invoice before production begins.

Yes — consolidating several categories into one shipment is one of the main reasons buyers work with us. We handle the differing HS codes, inspection requirements and supplier schedules so you receive one consignment and one set of documents.
